The Kart UK Super Sprint. Hosted at TeamSport Reading’s premier multi-level circuit, this event is designed exclusively for drivers aged 16+ who crave wheel-to-wheel action without the need for their own gear.
With 8 fast-paced heats and a tiered final system, you’ll be fighting for every inch of tarmac to secure your spot in the Grand Final.
🏁 Race Format & Regulations
⏱️ Phase 1: Practice
Practice Session: 8-minute open track time for all drivers to learn the lines and find their pace.
🏎️ Phase 2: The Heats
Structure: 8 individual heats per driver.
Distance: 5 laps per heat.
Grid Positions: Varied starts to ensure every driver experiences the front, middle, and back of the pack.
🏆 Phase 3: The Finals
Based on total points from the heats, drivers are split into three 10-lap Tiered Finals:
Grand Final: Top 8 point-scorers (Podium Contenders).
B-Final: Drivers ranked 9–16.
C-Final: All remaining drivers.
📊 Scoring System
Points are awarded based on finishing positions in each heat:

⚠️ Penalties & Conduct
We maintain a “Firm but Fair” racing environment. Infringements will result in point deductions from your total score:
Minor Infringement: -1 point (e.g., light bumping, track limits).
Medium Infringement: -2 points (e.g., aggressive blocking).
Severe Infringement: -3 points (e.g., dangerous driving, forcing off-track).
🚩 Disqualifications
Black Flag: 0 points awarded for the current race.
Second Black Flag: Immediate disqualification and removal from the competition.
